Location: Care Centers in the Greater Kansas City Area

Description: The Service Project is the presentation of recitals at retirement homes or care centers. Teachers should contact a location of choice to make arrangements. Programs should be at least 25 minutes long, but not longer than 40 minutes.
Rules: A teacher may provide a full recital from his/her studio. If a teacher does not have enough students to perform a full recital, he or she may team up with another teacher in order to provide a full recital.
Repertoire: Any medium or level of repertoire can be showcased. Performances can include solos, duets, and ensembles. Residents enjoy hearing any type of music, but especially “old favorites” that they know well. *Remember most facilities will have only one piano.
Eligibility and Fees: Students of any age may perform.
No enrollment form or entry fee is required. Certificates may be downloaded from the website.
